Audio/Visual Specialist - Office of Digital Learning & Academic Technology

Responsibilities
Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains audio visual systems and video projection equipment
Performs routine preventive maintenance on video projection equipment
Serves as lead worker to coordinate preventive maintenance efforts for AV Tech Shop
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for equipment training, certifications, and new product roadmap
Installs, field tests and make final adjustments and alignments to audio visual presentation systems and video projection equipment
Replace bulbs and clean filters
Performs inspection and quality assurance tests on newly purchased video projection equipment
Perform related and miscellaneous duties as required
This Position will drive a State Vehicle, Golf Cart, or All Terrain Vehicle on/off campus to FSU Department locations to perform diagnostics, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and to provide User training on audio visual hardware or equipment
Maintain an equipment inventory of laser projectors, bulb projectors, and accessories
Create a replacement plan for classrooms
Notifies supervisor when it is time to restock
Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management
Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years
A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license, Class E Required, or the ability to obtain one
