Responsibilities
Manage and lead a medium to large team of Systems Engineers on programs related to threat warning systems
Oversee all systems engineering content, ensuring the quality and completeness of work products
Understand and implement the product development process, ensuring alignment with program goals
Handle schedule and cost account responsibilities for the systems team, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget
Execute systems planning and requirements development, including the creation and review of system requirements for software, components, subsystems, and operational concepts
Allocate requirements to relevant engineering disciplines and oversee the integration and verification of system designs
Create system test plans, procedures, and reports, ensuring that systems are thoroughly tested and validated
Lead product design, development, integration, and verification efforts, ensuring that the final product meets all requirements and specifications
Engage in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings to ensure alignment and address any technical challenges
Maintain contact with customers, other contractors, and government officials, ensuring clear communication and alignment with program goals
Prepare and deliver technical presentations both internally and to customers, effectively communicating program status and technical details
Monitor and report on metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures (TPMs), ensuring that systems meet performance expectations
Participate in proposal development activities, including writing proposal text, estimating costs and schedules, and preparing presentations to secure new business

Required
Must have an active Top Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field
Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent experience
