Responsibilities
Perform system analysis across the full SDLC for the transit scheduling and operations application, including requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and support
Document functional and technical specifications for system changes and enhancements
Configure application components, define foundational data elements, and manage version control
Maintain technical documentation
Provide 2nd-level support for application issues, escalating to IT teams or vendors as needed
Manage user access provisioning and environment configurations
Monitor and troubleshoot batch processes; run ad-hoc queries and reports
Support QA with application behavior clarifications for test script creation
Handle sensitive information appropriately and respond professionally to inquiries
Participate in on-call rotation and work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends
Perform related duties and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
3+ years in application support, system analysis, or IT operations
Knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies
Experience with application configuration and data management
Ability to write and execute SQL queries and generate reports
Familiarity with batch processing and job scheduling tools
Understanding of system integrations and troubleshooting
Experience with release management and environment setup
Knowledge of IT infrastructure components
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Willingness to work on-call and flexible shifts, including nights/weekends
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
