They are seeking a Senior Development Manager / VP of Development to oversee multiple development projects, driving strategy, execution, and delivery while aligning with investment objectives, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities
Support underwriting and build detailed financial models for proposed development and acquisition opportunities, including sensitivity and feasibility analyses
Evaluate development risk, return metrics, and capital structures to support investment committee decisions
Assist with land acquisition due diligence, including zoning, environmental, title, and market analysis
Engage with governmental agencies to navigate zoning, entitlement, and permitting processes
Understand municipal requirements, impact fees, and approval timelines; develop and manage fee schedules
Oversee all pre-development activities including conceptual planning, schematic design, zoning approvals, permitting, and utility coordination
Lead efforts to secure institutional equity and debt financing in partnership with internal leadership and capital partners
Lead and coordinate internal and external project teams including architects, engineers, general contractors, consultants, attorneys, and third-party vendors
Manage design development to ensure projects meet programmatic, aesthetic, sustainability, and budgetary goals
Oversee construction progress, schedules, and cost controls through completion and stabilization
Research and implement innovative, high-quality, and sustainable multifamily product solutions while maintaining cost efficiency
Establish, refine, and maintain consistent development and construction processes, systems, and reporting standards
Ensure accurate, timely reporting of budgets, schedules, risks, and milestones to senior leadership and investors
Qualification
Required
Proven multifamily development experience
Strong financial acumen
Ability to lead projects from concept through delivery
