Responsibilities
Designing plans for large utility companies
Lead and support civil design for renewable energy projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and stormwater management
Manage municipal site plan and zoning approval processes for renewable energy developments
Prepare erosion and sediment control plans and coordinate regulatory submittals with county and state agencies
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software such as HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ArcGIS
Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering related major
5-15 years' experience in engineering design for energy-related projects
Experience with renewable energy projects, preferably solar in utility-scale and distribution generation projects
Experience leading the erosion and sediment control plan approval process for renewable projects through the county and state regulatory processes
Preferred
Professional Engineering License is preferred
Experience leading the site plan and zoning approval processes for renewable projects at the municipal level, preferred
