Responsibilities
Perform calculations, equipment and fixture selection, drafting, coordination, and all other related tasks to provide a complete design. Incorporate all client requirements as directed
Prepare project reports
Take project team from kickoff to completion without daily guidance/direction
Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and all other discipline designs into your design
Review own drawings, reports, and calculations for accuracy and completeness
Have an extensive knowledge of client/agency specific standards and applicable codes. Research design codes as needed
Answer questions and give guidance to junior designs as requested
Be able to manage several projects at one time, set priorities, and accurately estimate time to accomplish tasks
Address plan check comments and provide responses and revisions as needed
Answer RFIs and questions from the client
Conduct site observation visits and/or punch walks
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in plumbing design
Revit/AutoCAD proficiency
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
