Responsibilities
Support Epic clinical applications through design, build, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Participate in system upgrades and new feature implementations
Analyze clinical workflows and business processes to define system requirements
Collaborate with end users to gather requirements and support process improvement
Develop system documentation, project plans, test scripts, and training materials
Provide proactive user support and resolve system issues
Work with report writers to ensure appropriate reporting functionality
Maintain strong working relationships with clinical teams, IT staff, and vendors
Participate in outage response and system performance issue resolution
Stay current on developments in clinical information systems and healthcare technology
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Current clinical license and/or certification, if applicable
Epic Application Certification (e.g., Inpatient, Ambulatory) required or obtained within 6 months of hire
Working knowledge of inpatient and/or ambulatory healthcare operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting Epic or other enterprise clinical information systems
Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare delivery environments
