Responsibilities
Oversee insurance collections
Work closely with billing and collections teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience in medical insurance collections or equivalent combination of experience and education
Strong understanding of insurance adjudication processes
Proficiency in using general office technology
Ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies and team members
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to changes in insurance trends
High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred
Associates Degree or higher preferred
Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
Knowledge of CPT/modifiers and ICD-9/ICD-10 codes is a plus
Familiarity with insurance websites and portals
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with general office software
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors
