Develop new business through leads, networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives
Consult with clients to understand their needs and present customized insurance solutions
Prepare proposals and quotes, clearly explaining policy terms and coverage
Act as a long-term advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
Review renewals for cross-sell opportunities and upsell additional coverage
Maintain accurate records in agency management software
Stay current with industry trends and collaborate with underwriters and team members
Qualification
Required
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License or willingness to obtain (training provided)
Proven track record in sales with ability to meet or exceed targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to succeed
Preferred
Knowledge of personal insurance products
Proficiency with agency management or CRM software
