New Grad, Entry LevelTrinity Health is a large multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery system, and they are seeking a Unit Secretary for the Neuroscience department during the evening shift. The role involves assisting physicians and providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions, as well as collecting and reporting patient information and supporting daily living activities for patients.

Responsibilities
Collect and report patient information and data
Help patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulation
Patient Transport
Collection of specimens
Distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms
Deliver ice and beverages to patients
As assigned, stays with at-risk patients to monitor patient safety
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proof with college transcript required OR have significant nurse assistant/healthcare related experience is required
BLS certification required
Ability to pass drug screening and background check
Preferred
Graduate of a Connecticut approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred or in process of earning a BA in Nursing OR Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed
Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred
