Senior Program Manager, AV HMI

They are seeking a Senior Program Manager for their Autonomous Vehicle Human-Machine Interface (HMI) program, responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of HMI systems that enhance safety and usability.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end program delivery for AV HMI initiatives, from requirements definition through launch, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, software, and product teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
Drive stakeholder engagement, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners and ensuring transparency across all levels
Adapt and optimize plans based on evolving priorities, technical challenges, and business needs
Communicate program status and risks clearly and effectively to leadership, escalating issues when necessary
Champion user-centric design, ensuring HMI solutions are intuitive, safe, and aligned with AV system capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field
5+ years of experience managing complex software or systems programs in automotive, ADAS, AV, or HMI domains
3+ years of program/project management experience, with hands-on knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and executive audiences
Experience working across time zones and cultures, driving global collaboration
Preferred
Master's degree or MBA
Direct experience with HMI development for AV or ADAS systems
Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe)
PMP certification
Experience with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, or similar program management tools
