Responsibilities
Preparation of project reports, preliminary engineering design, and cost estimates
Supervise other engineers and technicians to achieve completion of project plans
Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
Review and checking of engineering work completed by others
Maintain positive client relationships
Mentor staff engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from accredited school
8-12 years of roadway design experience
Illinois PE; Indiana PE a plus
Strong technical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects
MicroStation and OpenRoads proficiency
Experience on Illinois DOT projects
Preferred
Experience on Illinois County or Illinois Local Agency projects a plus
Experience on Indiana DOT projects a plus
