Responsibilities
Develop usage forecasts for retail customers to support energy purchasing and financial projections
Design systems to track and analyze historical usage forecast accuracy monthly
Drive variance analysis and create reporting packages for stakeholders
Support long-term strategic initiatives related to customer usage and data platforms
Manage Vistra's data warehouse and define requirements with IT
Collaborate with Retail Planning to build analytical tools and models
Create controls and validations for financial models and reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus
5+ years experience in Finance, Accounting, Technology, or business operations
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, even with incomplete data
Strong communication and prioritization abilities
Proven track record of interfacing with stakeholders and resolving issues
Experience with forecasting, modeling, and data analysis
Familiarity with programming tools and data management platforms (Python, R, SQL, etc)
