Surface Treatment - Plasma - 7th Shift (Onsite)

They are seeking an entry-level Surface Treatment - Plasma technician responsible for processing super alloy powders, ensuring quality procedures are followed, and adhering to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities
Process super alloy powder within the confines of an environmentally controlled, isolated area
Screen & blend powder metals
Ensure work is accurate
Adhere to quality procedures
May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
Perform basic mathematical calculations
Communicate with co-workers
Must follow directions precisely
Ability to push, pull, and lift within specified weight restrictions
Physically capable of wearing a tight-fitting half mask respirator
Ability to operate basic hand tools
Must follow written work instructions
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a strong attendance record
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift
Must have good mechanical aptitude
Must be able to wear a respirator
The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds
