Responsibilities
Lead certification from zero to audit, then maintain and enforce controls post-certification
Own security across AWS, Vercel, and Cloudflare—access controls, secrets management, monitoring, and incident response
Run bug bounties and penetration tests, personally triage findings, and drive fixes to closure
Oversee IT vendors, device management, employee access, and physical office security
Partner with engineering, payments, and fraud teams to identify and neutralize attack vectors (e.g., bots, abuse, financial exploitation)
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years in hands-on security engineering or security leadership roles
Proven experience owning SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks
Deep cloud security expertise (AWS required)
Comfortable being the single point of accountability for security
Strong execution bias—you ship, fix, and close loops
Able to operate independently with minimal process and high ambiguity
