Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain C++ software applications in a Linux environment
Analyze and optimize existing algorithms using refactoring, multi-threading, and performance analysis tools
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Participate in code reviews and follow established software development best practices
Develop and perform tests to ensure software quality and reliability
Document designs, implementations, and technical decisions clearly and effectively
Qualification
Required
Active TOP SECRET/SCI Clearance
Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in writing code using C/C++ and Unix
Experience working in a team-based development environment using common tools and processes
Ability to analyze and improve the performance of existing algorithms
Comfortable developing in a Linux environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience developing applications using the Qt framework
Knowledge of multi-threaded algorithms in C++ on Linux
Experience with unit testing and other software testing methodologies
Familiarity with OpenSceneGraph (OSG) and/or osgEarth
Experience using Git or similar code management tools
Prior experience supporting Intelligence and Defense community systems
