Festival Intern
Rise And Remember is dedicated to conserving stories of resistance to racial injustice and curating spaces for public grief and justice. The Festival Intern will assist in preparing for the annual cultural festival, focusing on the Youth Entrepreneur Area and supporting the Kid Zone planning team while engaging with the community and social media outreach.

Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of the Youth Entrepreneur Area
Support the Kid Zone planning team
Reach out to the community for participation and attendance
Engage social media outreach
Provide insight and ideas for youth engagement
Help measure the success of youth engagement at the festival
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualification
Required
High School or College Student of working age
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work respectfully with cultural sensitivity
Writing, communication, and documentation skills
Knowledgeable in using and adapting to multiple social media platforms
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with others
Ability to stand, bend, or move between storage and work areas
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Friendly and comfortable working with people
Preferred
Familiarity with Google Suite
Experience with youth entrepreneurship
Experience working with youth & children under 18 (example: Youth camps, day care, youth groups, etc.)
Experience with teamwork
