They are seeking a motivated Purchasing Assistant to monitor inventory, create purchase orders, and manage vendor communications to ensure optimal stock levels.

Responsibilities
Monitor stock levels of direct sale items and production components
Create and manage purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels
Communicate effectively with vendors to confirm orders, correct invoices, and resolve issues with shipments
Engage in the improvement of purchasing processes using analytical and problem-solving skills
Work collaboratively with the purchasing team to support overall department goals
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine and professional demeanor
Self-starter mindset, with the ability to independently manage tasks and improve processes
Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with numbers and data analysis
Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel; familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables is highly desired
Experience with or ability to quickly learn tools such as SellerCloud, Shopify, Slack, and Gmail
Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, motivated, and organized
Previous experience in purchasing or a related field is not required, but relevant skills are a must
