Responsibilities
Providing onsite support at multiple Lockheed Martin major system and airframe suppliers primarily located in/around (DFW)
Working with supplier personnel to prioritize components through manufacturing
Validating the status of the deliverable parts and providing detailed status to LM procurement
Preparing plans to reduce/prevent shortages
Identifying risks in the supply chain and developing risk mitigation plans to minimize the potential impact to LM
Collaborating across multiple functions (within LM and at the supplier facility), including production, procurement, quality, and engineering, in order to expedite parts/assemblies that are required to support each of the LM Aeronautics Lines of Business (LOB)
Qualification
Required
Understanding of production processes as they relate to aircraft systems components and avionics equipment
Experience with machined part fabrication
Experience with tooling fabrication
Knowledge of lean manufacturing
Ability to analyze supplier processes and develop improvement plans
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supplier personnel at varying levels of an organization
Ability to collaborate across multiple functions including production, procurement, quality, and engineering
Must be a US Citizen; unable to sponsor at this time
Willingness to live in/near 25 miles radius of Dallas, Fort Worth, TX
Availability for 30-40 hours per week onsite at a LM supplier facility
