They are seeking a Show Control Hardware Intern to support the engineering team in preparing basic design calculations and providing general engineering support for attractions.

Responsibilities
Prepare, under supervision, basic engineering design and calculation
Provide general engineering support to Lead Engineers
Qualification
Required
Hands on experience with industrial control systems
Familiarity with control hardware design systems
Familiarity with PLCs
Interest in working in a 'test and adjust' construction environment
Ability to work as a member of a technical team
Computer literacy with MS Office products
Valid Driver's License required
Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree majoring in Engineering, studying Electrical, Electronics or Software Engineering, or related field
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
Fully available for the duration of the internship
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship in Glendale, CA
Preferred
Familiarity with MatLab and/or UML
AutoCad and/or SolidWorks experience
Experience with Revit
Experience working in a professional engineering environment
Successful completion of fundamental Electrical, Electronics or Software Engineering courses
