Responsibilities
Development and testing of Python-based test automation solutions for Embedded/RFID devices and related software
Understand the requirements and write optimized code adhering to best practices
Perform unit test, verification and validation of the product developed, failure analysis and debugging, generate test reports and test result summary
Deliver quality work products within schedule
Report progress and challenges in assigned tasks clearly and as mandated
Document the project as per the standards and enable future reference
Work as an individual contributor aligning with customer priorities, collaboration with cross-functional teams
Adhere to the customer specified process and workflow
Qualification
Required
Senior Developer with minimum 4-6 years of experience in developing Python-based Test Automation Framework in Linux/Windows, Web application development
Experience in requirement analysis, design, development and testing of test automation framework
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts
Strong programming skills in Python, PostgreSQL, Flask
Experience in C and Typescript (Angular)
Knowledge in REST, Agile methodologies
Ability to write effective and reusable code according to best practices
Good logical and problem-solving skills
Good analytical and debugging skills, knowledge of different debugging tools
Experience of project life cycles, process, workflows
Ability to drive, take ownership and responsibility for a project
Ability to work independently and be proactive
Ability to analyze problems and come up with proposals for a solution
Ability to learn new technologies as part of the job
Be able to clearly communicate in English language
Preferred
Experience in other programming languages, preferably C++, Bash Scripting
Experience in Android automation testing
Knowledge in RFID/Wireless communication/IoT Solutions
