Clinical Team Lead – headspace

Marathon Health Australia is seeking a Clinical Team Lead for headspace Orange, which provides early intervention services for young people. The role involves coordinating clinical services, guiding staff, and ensuring culturally appropriate care for young people.

Responsibilities

Ensure clinical staff are provided with supervision and mentoring
Be engaged in clinical and caseload reviews
Actively manage referrals, demand and wait times for clinical services
Ensure developmentally, culturally appropriate care is provided to all young people at the headspace Service
Promote and support key practices including Family Inclusive Practice and Evidence Informed Practice
Act as the primary point for clinical escalation in the centre, working closely with the Clinical Leads to ensure client concerns are managed appropriately and safely
Manage clinical resources and rosters to ensure clinical coverage, balance caseloads and effectively manage service demand
Maintain a small clinical caseload of young people, providing assessments, interventions, and ongoing monitoring
Conduct clinical audits and ensure appropriate reporting in accordance with quality and risk policies and procedures

Required

Psychologist – Full and current registration with AHPRA
Social Worker – Approved Social Work qualification (Bachelor or Master of Social Work) and: Completed additional mental health-specific training or hold endorsement in mental health
Eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Extensive experience and advanced skills in providing holistic mental health care, including working with families
Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, including operational and clinical supervision
A strong understanding of mental health and social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) care for First Nations young people
