Responsibilities
Execute and support installation, commissioning, and servicing of residential garage doors and openers in accordance with Kosper standards
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and installation-related technical issues on-site
Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and internal sales teams
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
Support dealer technical training and on-site guidance when required
Participate in new product field testing, validation, and technical feedback collection
Prepare and maintain technical reports, installation records, and service documentation
Act as Kosper’s technical representative and uphold the company’s design-driven quality standards
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in garage doors, industrial doors, or related mechanical systems
Strong hands-on technical and mechanical skills with tools and installation equipment
Working knowledge of garage door operators, control systems, sensors, and basic electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage regional technical tasks efficiently
Customer-oriented mindset with strong professional communication skills
Proven ability to work from a home-based office
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region, including occasional overnight trips
Preferred
Experience in residential construction or building materials is a plus
Industry certifications related to garage doors are an asset but not required
