Responsibilities
Draft estate plans end-to-end, including wills, trusts, and related planning documents
Advise high-net-worth and closely held business clients on sophisticated estate planning matters
Take over and further develop an established, healthy estate planning practice
Work directly with clients and maintain long-term relationships
Contribute to the strategic growth of the trusts and estates group
Optional business development for attorneys interested in expanding the practice
Qualification
Required
5+ years of estate planning experience (estate planning only, not probate)
Active Illinois bar license
Demonstrated ability to independently draft and manage estate plans
Interest in stepping into a leadership role and helping develop the practice
Preferred
Tax background (LLM in Taxation or tax certificate strongly preferred)
Experience advising higher-net-worth clients or business owners
Interest in long-term growth and partnership
