Responsibilities
This position responsible for performing HACCP, SSOP and Quality Checks to insure that product meets plant, USDA and customer expectations
Must have a basic understanding of microbiology, HACCP and SSOPs & GMPs
Knowledge of pre-operational sanitation checks
Perform various quality control functions including but not limited to inspection and audits
Inspect various product to assure compliance with Company specifications
Other duties as assigned
Completing accurate and detailed paperwork on products
Communicating clearly with Superintendent, Lead and or Managers
Other tasks/duties as assigned by Lead, Manager and or Other Management
Qualification
Required
Must have a basic understanding of microbiology, HACCP and SSOPs & GMPs

Preferred
Knowledge of meat industry. Previous job in industry is preferred (1yr +) Similar QA job in the past is preferred
Bilingual preferred but not required
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
