Responsibilities

Supervise safe electrical installations, alterations, and repairs by subcontractors on project sites
Oversee and verify all pre-commissioning tasks, including I/O checks, motor rotation, and device functionality
Track and report daily progress, including subcontractor headcount and completed testing activities
Ensure all cabling and equipment is installed and labeled per electrical drawings and standards
Identify and escalate any discrepancies in design, scope, or documentation
Maintain complete turnover documentation including cable testing, device checks, and labeling
Collaborate with commissioning teams to resolve electrical scope issues during project execution
Provide technical support and scope clarifications to subcontractors
Coordinate with site management to align pre-commissioning milestones with project schedules
Support training efforts for subcontractor teams on pre-commissioning procedures

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
3–5 years of experience in material handling, automation, or electrical installation
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, layouts, and technical drawings
Proficient in troubleshooting complex control and motor wiring circuits
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven leadership and ability to work independently on active job sites
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic technical software tools
Flexible and adaptable to evolving site conditions and schedules

Preferred

Experience with conveyors, AGVS, AS/RS, or similar automation systems
