Responsibilities
Support annual planning, quarterly and month-end close activities, including variance analysis
Participate in monthly and quarterly revenue reviews with senior leadership, providing insights on performance against plan, key drivers of variance, and forward-looking trends
Work closely with Accounting and Investor Relations to prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and external communications
Ensure consistency and accuracy across all external and internal financial messaging
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance financial planning capabilities and operational rigor
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or FP&A roles, preferably at high-growth technology companies
Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, with demonstrated ability to build complex models and forecasts from scratch
Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, with expertise in modern financial planning tools (e.g., Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive)
Strong business acumen and can quickly develop deep understanding of business drivers
Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and can navigate ambiguity with confidence
Strong collaboration skills and can build effective partnerships across functions and levels
Passionate about Anthropic's mission to build safe, beneficial AI systems
At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
