Responsibilities
Visit customers within the assigned territory to understand their operations, challenges, and machinery needs
Build strong, professional relationships throughout the fabrication industry
Focus on core product lines, including Press Brakes, Fiber Lasers, Plate Rolls, Shears, Punch Presses, and Panel Benders
Identify additional opportunities for any metal fabrication equipment we offer
Gather accurate technical and operational information required for preparing machinery quotes
Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for leadership to conduct presentations and finalize sales
Maintain organized notes, customer intelligence, follow-up activities, and detailed documentation
Communicate concise, accurate, detail-oriented information to internal teams
Qualification
Required
Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities
Self-starter with initiative; able to work independently without needing to be 'hand-fed' solutions
Highly organized, teachable, and quick to learn new systems and technologies
Strong understanding of math and measurements, including unit conversions - Added Benefit
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic PDF editing
Comfortable with frequent field visits and interacting directly with customers
Preferred
Familiarity with part drawings and the ability to read prints
Basic understanding of CAD/CAM programming
Interest or experience in metal fabrication machinery is a strong plus
