Postdoctoral Fellow - Interventional Radiology Research
Komen Graduate Training Program UT MDACC is offering a postdoctoral position in the Department of Interventional Radiology focused on research in novel technologies for interventional oncology procedures. The role involves developing and evaluating image-processing techniques to enhance image-guided treatments for liver cancer patients.

Responsibilities
Perform research on novel technologies in the field of interventional oncology procedures
Develop and evaluate novel image-processing techniques and image-based markers to improve image-guided loco-regional treatments including pre-procedure evaluation, intra-procedure guidance and decision making, and post-procedure follow-up
Work under the supervision of Dr. Iwan Paolucci and Dr. Bruno C. Odisio
Gain knowledge and expertise in interventional radiology, AI/Machine Learning, image-processing, and radiomics
Apply technologies to clinical problems
Qualification
Required
An individual holding or soon to be obtained Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field
Programming experience in Python
Experience with image-processing frameworks for cross-sectional imaging such as ITK
Training of AI models (e.g. nnUNet)
Basic statistical knowledge
