Accounting Manager
DeWinter Group is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations during a transitional period. This role will play a key part in ensuring continuity across month-end close, payroll, and day-to-day accounting activities.
Responsibilities
Support the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and coordination with internal finance stakeholders
Process payroll through Paylocity, partnering closely with the HR team; manage related reporting and PTO accruals
Oversee vendor management and accounts payable, including invoice review, and payment processing
Perform cash and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in a hands-on Accounting Manager with strong understanding of month-end close, payroll, AP/AR, and cash reconciliations
Preferred
Experience with Xero (nice to have)
