Responsibilities
Prepare and present accurate cost estimates for automation and control system projects
Conduct takeoffs from plans and specifications to determine project scope and cost
Analyze bid packages and prepare detailed reports for management review
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project requirements and deliverables
Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information
Review and validate estimates with project teams to ensure alignment with project expectations
Monitor industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive estimates
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating for construction or mechanical systems
Proficiency in estimating software and tools for takeoffs and bid preparation
Strong understanding of building systems, HVAC, and control systems
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
