The Director of Sales will own the full sales cycle for pharma and biotech sponsors, leveraging their existing relationships to build a pipeline and close deals that drive revenue.

Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle for pharma and biotech sponsors: sourcing, qualifying, demo, negotiation, close
Tap your existing network to build pipeline from day one
Develop and refine our sponsor-side sales playbook and positioning
Run discovery calls and demos — you'll need to understand the product deeply and speak credibly about clinical trial operations
Work cross-functionally with the founders and product team to shape the product roadmap based on what you hear in the market
Manage your pipeline meticulously and forecast accurately
Close deals that drive real revenue — not just technically interesting pilots
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience selling into pharma, biotech, or clinical development organizations, with 3+ years selling patient engagement products or services
Existing relationships at small-to-mid-size sponsors — not just Big Pharma
A real network in the space — people who will take your call because of your relationship, not your company's brand
Full-cycle experience: you've sourced your own leads, run your own demos, negotiated contracts, and closed
Track record of quota attainment — you know your numbers and you hit them
Comfortable selling a technical product and learning enough to demo it yourself
Startup mentality: lean team, no rigid playbook — you'll have SDR support, but you're expected to source from your own network too
Strong discovery skills — you lead with questions, not pitches
