Responsibilities

Conduct background research on topics relevant to gender, education, and global development, and support drafting summaries of research findings that may be used in blog posts, presentations, or other research products
Provide administrative support including designing and evaluating the Echidna Global Scholars Fellowship, planning and coordinating weekly meetings and workshops, and monitoring and tracking project deliverables

Required

Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year or graduate students pursuing a master's degree with interests in international development, gender studies, and education
Prior experience (demonstrated either through coursework, previous internships, or research assistant positions) in conducting literature searches and reviews
Strong interest in intersectional approaches towards gender, social justice, and/or global education and development
Relevant academic knowledge and strong written, organizational, and communication skills
This internship requires you to be located in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
Successful completion of a background investigation is required for interning at Brookings

If selected as a finalist for the internship, you will be required to submit two letters of recommendation or provide two professional references
