Responsibilities
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, reserves, and balance sheet integrity
Lead and develop a small accounting team while maintaining hands-on involvement
Partner with department leaders to review financial performance, risks, and opportunities
Manage inventory accounting, warehouse reconciliations, and cycle count processes
Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, ACH initiatives, and 1099 reporting
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and reconciliation across multiple sales channels and systems
Lead external audits and serve as primary contact for auditors and other external partners
Own internal controls framework and support ongoing policy development and compliance
Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management
Strong understanding of inventory accounting and operational finance
ERP experience required
Highly detail-oriented with strong leadership and communication skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred
CPA preferred, not required
NetSuite strongly preferred
