Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical architect for multiple retail planning teams, ensuring that all solutions align with the company's strategic goals and technical standards
Provide expert guidance in code and design reviews and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions
Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies that enhance the scalability, performance, and reliability of our retail planning solutions
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and emerging industry
Represent the company at industry conferences and events, sharing insights and experiences to establish the company as a leader in supply chain software solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) and minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in enterprise Software development; with min of 5 years as Architect
Strong programming experience and background in Enterprise Java, spring boot, microservices
Demonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions (using, Azure)
Demonstrable experience with microservices based architecture on Cloud at scale
Azure: 5+ years of experience with cloud architecture and deployment
Snowflake: 3+ years of experience in data warehousing
PostgreSQL: 5+ years of experience working with Postgres or similar databases
CICD: 5+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git Actions
Experience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologies
Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in
Experience with API management platforms & providing / consuming RESTful APIs
Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation
Good Understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, identity management, role-based access control, authentication & authorization, and data encryption
Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities
