Legal Intern

Nissha Medical Technologies is offering a Pathfinder Internship Program designed for law students to gain practical experience in a corporate setting. The Legal Intern will assist the legal team with various tasks, including legal research, contract drafting, and administrative support, while contributing to the company's mission of advancing medical technology.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research on industry-specific topics, including regulatory compliance and intellectual property
Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and legal agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies
Organize and maintain accurate records of legal documents, contracts, and corporate records in electronic databases
Provide administrative support to the legal department, including document preparation and filing
Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends relevant to the company's business
Collaborate with the legal team to identify and address potential legal risks and challenges
Assist in the preparation of legal reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Support the legal team in due diligence processes during M&A transactions
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional codes of conduct at all times
Perform other ad-hoc legal and administrative tasks as assigned by the legal team

Required

Student currently enrolled in law school
Ability to work independently
Strong verbal and written communication
Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve by accepting candid feedback
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school, with a strong academic record
Coursework in relevant legal areas, such as contracts, corporate law, and legal research
Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills, with a critical thinking mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Awareness of professional ethics and confidentiality requirements
A passion for corporate law and a desire to gain practical experience
Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic legal environment
