Responsibilities
Hunt for viral podcast clips, M&A insights, and business acquisition content that will resonate with aspiring buyers
Edit and repurpose content into engaging short-form videos optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Post daily content (scaling to 2x/day as you ramp up) with strategic hooks, captions, and CTAs that drive profile visits and newsletter signups
Analyze performance metrics and double down on what works—you're accountable for follower growth, engagement, and lead generation
Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm changes, and viral content strategies in the business/finance/M&A space
Collaborate with the Acquire Weekly team to align content with product launches, deals, and key messaging
Qualification
Required
Proven track record growing social media accounts organically (show us the numbers—follower growth, engagement rates, viral hits)
Expert-level video editing skills for short-form content (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, or similar tools)
Deep understanding of what makes content go viral on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts—you know hooks, pacing, retention tactics, and platform-specific trends
Ability to identify and clip compelling moments from long-form podcasts and interviews about business, M&A, entrepreneurship, and wealth-building
Self-starter who thrives in a performance-based environment—you're motivated by results, not hand-holding
Strong copywriting skills for captions and CTAs that convert viewers into followers and leads
Comfortable working independently and meeting daily posting cadences without micromanagement
Can start immediately
Preferred
Experience in the M&A, business acquisition, or entrepreneurship content space
You've personally built a social media account to 10K+ followers or managed accounts that achieved viral growth
Understanding of lead generation funnels and how social content drives conversions
You geek out over analytics and A/B testing different content approaches
