The Survey Intern will provide surveying office support, participate in field work, and collaborate with internal staff to assist clients in the development of land surveys.

Responsibilities

Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to prepare boundary and topographic surveys along with subdivision plats
Process, extract, and analyze field survey data
Collaborate with project surveyors and project managers to create plans and survey base mapping
Perform quality assurance and standards checks on projects
Field work including site inspections, research, and quality assurance as needed
Additional related duties as needed

Required

Attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and critical thinking skills
1+ years of experience with surveying or taking surveying classes
Seeking an associate degree or higher in a survey program or equivalent
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Preferred

Exposure to GEOPAK, Open Roads, MicroStation, and drone flights a plus
