Compliance Project Manager & Training Coordinator (PRGM MGR IV) Compliance Division

The State of Maryland is seeking an Assistant Director for the Compliance Division to support daily operations and improve workflows. This role involves creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, coordinating training, leading special projects, and enhancing operational efficiency within the division.

Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all Compliance Division areas, starting with Individual Tax Collections
Help coordinate training across the division
Lead special projects and programs assigned by division leadership
Assist with updating and maintaining the Division’s Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) to identify and reduce operational risks
Help prepare reports on division progress and results
Resolving operational issues
Making improvements to increase efficiency across the division

Qualification

Required

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Five (5) years of professional work experience in managing and/or directing a business operation or project(s)
Candidates may substitute an additional four years of experience for a bachelor's degree
For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service
If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at http://www.naces.org/members.html

Upon appointment (new hires and/or transfers) must successfully undergo fingerprinting
