Responsibilities

Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Operators on cost savings and process improvement projects for CNC Gantry Mills
Catalog fixturing for Solid Models
Create 3D modeling of Gantry Mill Tool Changer Pocket
Develop and update setup and table Work Instructions
Support Manufacturing Engineering with TDM (Tool Data Management) for specific large structures Tooling

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related major from an accredited college or university
Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or master's level student in good academic standing
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team towards a goal
Excellent organization and personal time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to be creative and resourceful when needed
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred

Previous classroom and/or work experience in SolidWorks (CAD)
Previous classroom and/or work experience in one or more of the following areas of Programming Software is a bonus: MasterCAM, CAMWorks, and so on
Interest in or aptitude to learn about careers in the heavy equipment industry
Hands-on machining experience is beneficial
