Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning (Visual Display)

They are seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain Planning to oversee the logistics cycle of Samsung products, ensuring efficient transportation and management of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics processes.

Responsibilities
Make supply chain related decisions involving multiple factors that may be ambiguous in nature. Decisions on matters that have moderate to significant impact on business operations, financial results, and vendor relationships
Execute monthly sales target and achievement estimation with related party and monitor sales progress
Secure logistics (Transportation, Warehouse and distribution) capacity by regular and solid communication with SCM and logistics operation team
Manage and measure logistics processes including; inbound from local and overseas factories, transloading, ETA (estimated time of arrival) & OTD (On time delivery) management, carrier activity, POD verification, and damaged products claims identifying exceptional or high cost deviations and making procedural decisions outside the scope of established guidelines
Analyze logistics data, identifying and predicting deviations from process, and making procedural changes to take advantage of increased opportunity for efficiency or correct inefficiencies within the logistics systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (In Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, industrial engineering) with 8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years of experience
8-10+ years of logistics experience required
Advanced Excel, SAP, WMS and ERP
Able to utilize expert supply chain operations of process from factory to customer and is able to identify and predict unlikely problems within the delivery cycle
Has the scope of authority to make changes to process, and personnel, to meet departmental objectives
The ability to develop, read, prepare, interpret, and understand product shipment information from various order and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and thorough preparation of transportation documents
Resolves problems of moderate to large scope where analysis of data requires the identification of obscure or undefined factors and decisions have significant impact on business performance
Exercises judgment and makes decisions on business situations outside established procedures and approves exceptional cases
Preferred
Bilingual - fluency in Korean
Experience in working with a global company and logistics
Experience in handling consumer electronics and/or home appliances
5-10+ years of supervisory experience
