Responsibilities

Hands-on assembly or repair of electric motors and stators including redlining engineering drawings and created build records
Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and manufacturing processes in concert with design engineers
Assist editing and implementing technical documentation
Performing in-process quality inspection tasks, feeling comfortable identifying and raising concern about process deviations and being integral part of any troubleshooting efforts to solve them
Maintaining logs and check sheets throughout the build process, which requires proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
Develop your expertise concerning electro-mechanical assembly of fully electric propulsion systems
Respect and foster a culture of safety, including working safely around high voltage

Required

Two-year degree or certificate from an accredited two (2) year college, university, or technical school preferred
Ability to Interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics of mechanical and electrical components
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to pivot and rapidly develop solutions to changing goals
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Strong communication skills
Understanding of how electric motors work
Passion for sustainability

Preferred

Previous experience building electric Motors
Previous Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience – Specifically 3DX/Catia
Technical knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 800 VDC
Experience with Stator Assembly
Experience with Stator electrical testing
