Responsibilities
Take high-stakes mechanical systems (hydraulics, drive mechanisms, structures) from concept to mass production
Use physics and math to design rigs that are lighter, faster, and stronger
Use FEA and stress analysis to ensure your hardware withstands punishment in remote, rugged environments
Collaborate directly with electrical and software teams to turn heavy iron into intelligent robots
Go to the field. See your hardware in action. Fix what breaks
Qualification
Required
Significant experience designing and analyzing heavy machinery, hydraulics, or autonomous systems
Elite in CAD (NX/SolidWorks) and FEA (ANSYS/Abaqus)
Willing to work extended hours and weekends when the mission demands it
Preferred
Experience with heavy-duty subsystems
Experience in first principles design
Experience with simulation and stress analysis
