Responsibilities
Research and analyze vendor proposals for design or application feasibility
Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to obtain optimal equipment utilization
Evaluate and recommend design modifications to eliminate equipment malfunctions, improve equipment reliability and efficiency
Create and assist in preventive maintenance standards & solutions
Perform long-term maintenance planning, purchase spare parts and analyze spare part requirements for plant equipment and overhead cranes
Lead and execute capital projects in all areas of the plant
Lead with various trade & contractors coordinating projects
Lead installation and modification of new and existing equipment
Develop equipment lockout/tagout procedures, continue to improve safety
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required
Preferred
Previous industrial experience desirable
Must be knowledgable with office applications, AutoCAD, office, inventor/3D
Excellent verbal and communication skills, analytical reasoning ability and good judgement for critical operating decisions, keen attention to detail, ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment
