Real Estate & GIS/Database Intern

City of Seattle is one of the nation’s largest municipally owned utilities, recognized for its leadership in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship. The Real Estate and Database intern will assist in research, data collection, and routine real estate functions, supporting the management of City Light owned properties and rights of way throughout Washington.

Reading and interpreting real property legal descriptions

Required

Enrolled in an accredited certificate, 2-year or 4-year undergraduate educational program during their internship
Undergraduate students will need to maintain a 2.0 GPA or above throughout the internship

Preferred

Enrolled in an academic program with focus on Business, Architecture, Engineering, Environment, Finance, GIS, or Public Administration
Database management experience or coursework
Real estate knowledge or coursework
GIS experience
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
