Sekai is building a new kind of consumer social platform where interactive mini-apps become a content format. They are seeking a Founding Product Designer to help define this new medium and ship core product experiences at high speed.

Responsibilities

Design core consumer experiences across discovery, play/use, sharing, following, and creation/remix
Turn ambiguous 0→1 problems into clear, intuitive product flows
Prototype quickly and iterate based on real user behavior and team feedback
Work closely with engineering and product to ship at high velocity (weekly and often daily)
Help establish early design standards and lightweight systems that keep quality high while moving fast

Required

3+ years of product design experience
Strong taste and product judgment; comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
Experience with consumer apps; social/UGC/creator platforms is a plus
Fast, high-ownership operator who drives work to production (not just mocks)
Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced startup environment
Language Requirement: Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken + written)

Preferred

Experience with feeds, sharing mechanics, community features, or creator tooling
Motion / micro-interaction experience
Prior 0→1 or new-category product experience
