Responsibilities

Providing evidence-based interventions in the form of individual, group, and/or family therapy
Working within the Children’s outpatient clinic
Offering culturally-sensitive and inclusive approaches to therapy
Fostering belonging within the Children’s community
Managing a mixture of in-person and telehealth appointments

Qualification

Required

PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited program
Completed an APA accredited child internship
Expertise in treating children and adolescents using evidence-based treatment approaches
Licensed or licensed-eligible in Georgia prior to employment
Must obtain board certification within hospital timelines

Preferred

Strong background in the application of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy within acute populations
Expertise in adolescent family therapy
Experience in treating functional conditions, psychosis, acute mood disorders, or anxiety/depression/disruptive behavior that is comorbid with autism
