They are seeking a Staff Accountant/Marina Accountant responsible for providing direct financial management for a portfolio of marinas and clients, including monthly accounting close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Monthly accounting close, balance sheet schedules, reconciliations, and prepare timely and accurate financial/operating report packages for the assigned mixed portfolio
Work closely with General Managers, Accountants, clients and corporate personnel to provide top quality customer service, budgets, year-end reconciliations and financial reports
Cash management functions including bank reconciliations, bank transfers, owner distributions/cash sweeps, and payment processing
Utility and tenant bill backs
Sales and use tax returns
Work with auditors and tax accountants to ensure quality year-end financial statements
Work with General Managers, Accountants, clients and corporate personnel to provide top quality customer service, budgets, year-end reconciliations and financial reports

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting2+ years related experienceMicrosoft SuiteQuickbooksMulti-taskingCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsTime management skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years related experience or an Associate's Degree in Accounting and 4+ years related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products
Extremely organized, strong multi-tasking and proven time management skills

Preferred

Working knowledge of Quickbooks
