Responsibilities
Provides Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for SATCOM terminals and related equipment. Performs equipment status monitoring and operation
Coordinates and responds to messages from interfacing organizations such as tech control, DISA, and network control centers
Troubleshoot links, trunks and circuits
Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs corrective maintenance
Supports equipment upgrades
Performs work center quality inspections
Performs work center additional duties and logistics activities to include forward supply point, bench stock inventory and ordering
Performs training and maintains training records
Supports other contract functional areas as required
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Must work towards completion of SATCOM/communications/systems operations and/or maintenance course or gaining equivalent experience on site
Must be able to work shift
Requires an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree technical career field
Must have a current DoD 8570 certification (Security+)
