Akkodis is seeking an iOS UI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC. The candidate will implement new UI features and resolve UI bugs to support high-quality iOS user experiences.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable data models and database schemas across SQL, vector, and unstructured data systems
Optimize and tune database performance, including queries, indexing, and storage configurations for high-throughput applications
Build robust ETL pipelines and data workflows to support analytics, reporting, and application data needs
Develop end-to-end full-stack components and APIs using Java, Python, SQL, and modern integration technologies
Implement and enforce data security, privacy, and compliance standards across all data platforms
Integrate and utilize big-data and data-warehouse technologies such as Spark, Snowflake, and Trino to support scalable data processing

Required

Candidate must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Candidate should have 6 years of software development experience in data modelling, database design/optimization, and full‑stack development, plus 3 years working with big‑data, vector databases, and data‑warehouse technologies
Candidate must have strong proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and hands‑on experience with systems such as Trino, Spark, and Snowflake
Candidate will have demonstrated ability to design scalable ETL pipelines, ensure data security/compliance, and build data‑driven application components
